Clique Series 1 – Review by Kris Scott

The Scottish drama that you probably didn’t know about created by the talented former p06qh2jp‘Skins’ writer Jesse Brittain.

‘Clique’ follows Holly McStay played by a relatively new comer called Synnøve Karlsen (When you watch this show you’d think she’s been doing this for ages). Holly is a university student just beginning her first year in Edinburgh with her best pal since childhood Georgia Cunningham (How rare is that in real life?)

One day they go into a lecture led by the charismatic Jude McDermid and her brand of feminism lures both Holly and Georgia to discover more.

Blindspot- A typical crime show?

Ever since Strike Back finished a few months ago Sullivan Stapleton would’ve been looking for more work to dig his teeth into and Blindspot came up.11988675_498683480307498_8974698613972882453_n

This is a show about a lady being found within a kit bag in the middle of Times Square, N.Y.C. covered in tattoos who has also lost her memory and does not know her own identity. The FBI discovers that each tattoo contains a clue to a crime they will have to solve.

Black Sails sets its course for Season 2.

black-sailsBlack Sails returned and we got to see more Flint and Silver this time trying to survive both Spanish soldiers and their own former crewmen.

This episode was a great opener to the new season beginning with some classic Black Sails action, some pirates taking a vessel and looting the cargo then deciding to massacre the crew leaving no witnesses even though they surrendered peacefully. We learn that this character is Captain Low, one of history’s most feared pirates.
