Pride (2014 Film) Review

Pride, a film based on a true story, set in Britain in the years 1984 – 1985, tells the story of a group of gay and lesbian activists that decide to help miners who went on strike-due to events that happened whilst Margaret Thatcher was in power- by raising money for their families who needed support. The film was written by Stephen Beresford and was directed by Matthew Warchus. This film captures the story of the group- Lesbians and Gays Support the Miners (LGSM), amazingly and tells the story about an incredibly inspiring group of people that are prepared to go to extreme lengths to help and support people in need.  Continue reading “Pride (2014 Film) Review” »
