As an English girl trying to fit into Scottish society, Rosanna struggles when she falls in love with a boy from a working class family. Haunting words for the beginning of a film, wouldn’t you agree. 10 Cloverfield Lane is a tension driven drama that we view through the eyes of Michelle (Mary Elizabeth Winstead) a confused car accident victim who wakes in a bunker owned by one Howard Stambler (John Goodman). The majority of the film takes place within Stamblers underground ‘safe place’ adding to the tension.

After being attracted to Villeneuve’s work through Prisoners (2013) I pushed myself to watch anything really by this director, he seems to have a thing for grabbing you by the throat and making your heart stop due to the nerve-wrecking tension.

Blindspot- A typical crime show?

Ever since Strike Back finished a few months ago Sullivan Stapleton would’ve been looking for more work to dig his teeth into and Blindspot came up.11988675_498683480307498_8974698613972882453_n

This is a show about a lady being found within a kit bag in the middle of Times Square, N.Y.C. covered in tattoos who has also lost her memory and does not know her own identity. The FBI discovers that each tattoo contains a clue to a crime they will have to solve.
